Award Winning President:
Wayne, New Jersey – On August 17, 2005 Golden Note Entertainment, lead by its Founder and President Gerry Siracusa, took home the honors that only select DJ entertainers have achieved, DJ of the Year for 2005/2006.  This is an award provided by DJ Times Magazine at its annual entertainment convention.  Although 5,000 entertainers from around the world were in attendance, which increased the intensity of the competition, Golden Note kept its composure and its edge.

They say that lightening does not strike twice, but in the case of New Jersey based Golden Note Entertainment, it sure does.  This is not the first time that Golden Note has won this award.  In 1998, Gerry and Crew took home the Entertainer of the Year award with its line dance called, “The Whip”.  Entertainers from around the world, who learned the dance at that year’s convention or saw it on the many “DJ how-to videos”, used the dance to enhance their events. 
Only two entertainers in the world have ever won this award twice!

“This year’s win was even more amazing,” says Siracusa.  “Performing ‘Dance and Shout’ was awesome.  Having a ballroom of your peers, who represent almost every market, hanging on your every word and matching your every move is CRAZY!”  What made this even more satisfying is that, “We took the whole thing.”  Golden Note’s performance was eligible for three awards: best use of choreographed dancers; best new line dance, and Entertainer of the Year.  Sweeping all three categories is almost unheard of.  This is something only three entertainers in the world have ever done, two in the years past and Golden Note this year.
